We include an engagement session with many of our wedding collections! The engagement session consists of at least one hour of shooting time and is a relaxed photographic experience for you--the engaged couple! Most couples choose semi-formal clothing for the first part of the session (such as khakis, skirts, dress shirts, etc.) and then change into casual wear for the rest of the session (such as jeans, shorts, capri pants, etc.). The result is a collection of images that our clients will treasure for years!

Our couples will receive a full collection of proofs in a sleek black folio and a proof box. An engagement session typically includes at least 60 finished proofs--yours to keep!

Couples will receive a combination of our special photographic techniques on their engagement images. We specialize in a mix of classic portraits plus romantic, energetic, and super-fun shots! We have an incredible time with our couples during the engagement shoot and it is a wonderful experience for everyone!

Couples may use their Wedding Collection print credit to purchase reprints or enlargements. We also love it when our couples use their proofs on their wedding day (such as putting them in frames and on tables at the reception site)--it adds a romantic and personal touch!

Our clients also love our newest product--The Keepsake Wedding Guest Book! This is a fabulous and stylish alternative to the traditional guest signature book or the signature board. The guest book is a leather-bound 8x8 or 10x10 album (20 pages) with the embossing (the couples choose their text or monogram) on the front. The leather cover comes in black, chocolate, saddle brown, navy blue, or red. Inside the book is a custom-designed set of images from the engagement session that the clients choose for themselves! The guest book comes complete with signature pens and instructions for the guest book attendant. Clients may have the pages lined or unlined and can have as many images as they want on the pages! We can also provide images from the engagement session for clients to use for their wedding program, DVD/slide show at the ceremony or reception, or newspaper announcement.

Since we do all of our work on location (although we can do sessions in our home studio if requested), you may choose the setting for your photographs. You may have them done at your home, your favorite park, the location of your first date, or even where you became engaged. The choice is yours! Some popular locations include Creaks Ma han Nature Preserve, many local parks, Berne Forest, Louisville's Waterfront Park, Locust Grove Settlement, Cox's Park, Downtown Louisville streets, Briar Hill Park, the Louisville Zoo, Falls of the Ohio, and Fourth Street Live!

Please note that the client is responsible for their own admission or parking fees to any location that requires payment--the photographers will, of course, be responsible for their own fee payment to any shooting location that requires it.
